Wow, what a full and busy day Meetup Day was! I'm sorry I didn't get very many pics as I was working at least one of the events. If anyone wants to volunteer to be my event picture taker, I'd be glad to have you!
But it was a good day :). It started with the Nashville Naturals Meetup at Sweetings Cosmotology School Saturday morning. I liked this event in that it was more q&a and everyone seemed to feel comfortable asking questions and voicing their opinions, tried and true techniques, and helpful tips. It was hot. I will say that. But it was a very nice program with periodic giveaways, refreshments, and a great turn out. See below.

Registration and a few vendors were up front, along with some Hair Rules samples, business cards and flyers of product brands with discount coupons, and other helpful information.
And the actual host of the meetup. I don't think I ever got her name.
So after the q&a, there was mingling and networking where I was so happy to meet Chloe of Chloe "BabyBigHair". Please check her out if you can, and if you have curly kids. I think it would be very beneficial.
Part two of the day took place at the Island Breeze Cafe in Madison, TN. A Jamaican food joint of which I didn't even get a chance to taste the food, I was so busy! I was not happy about that either because I love to eat! Lol. But they were extremely nice for shutting it down for us to participate in this event. This event was put on by Curl Rehab. Loving the big beautiful hair! You guys will have to excuse. I was hot, had sweated, and my hair poofed up since I only used hair milks to twist with. More on that later. But normally I look pretty fabulous.

At one point it got very crowded in there. A LOT of people showed up. This pic was taken in the beginning before things got hectic. Overall, I think it was a great success! There's been talk of this being an annual event since we have a "day" now! Can't wait to see how this evolves and get bigger and better each year. So if you missed it this year, make sure to catch it next year, and all events that will happen through out the year. We HAVE to make sure that we support each other and these events! The Atlanta hair show is great, but we don't always have to drive to Atlanta when we have events happening right here in Nashville. Remember, we are here for you!
