I hope you all survived the sweltering hot Memorial Day Weekend! As we approach Summer and the temps continuing to climb, you may be thinking about changing your product regimen to something a little more light weight. Introducing........
Hair Milk....
Hair Milks are great products in that they are light-weight, can be used for daily use, and they tame frizzes!
But recently I have discovered another jewel about these products. You can style with them! Who knew? (Probably everybody except me!) Yes, yes, I actually twisted my hair with both the Peach Kernel Hydrating Milk, and the Cocoa Bean Smoothing Cream. And it came out fabulous! My hair had body and movement, definition (which shocked me), and softness and shine.
The only draw back was that with my hair texture, the moisture and definition definitely doesn't last long. It gave a whole new meaning to the word "daily" for me. Someone with a looser or silkier texture would LOVE this though. I'm just not a fan of twisting my hair everyday. But if I were trying to style my hair for a particular event, this would do it!
I always thought that with my hair texture I would have to use a butter, so this was a pleasant surprise :). This picture was done using the Peach Kernal Hydrating Milk from Darcy's Botanicals. Now sold at All Things Curly!!
I have to give props to a good friend who made me think to even try this. She twisted her hair using the Muru Muru Moisture Milk (blue). In fact, there is a very good review of someone doing just that, and their results. Click here.
So as you can see, hair milks are the business! Especially during this hot season! So contact us today for your bottle. Here's what's on the menu in picture order from l-r.
