My Thoughts!
This line took me completely by surprise. Now, I had seen a couple of reviews on these products. Particularly
Baby Big Hair's review. But it still didn't really dawn on me that these products are so liquid-based. Again, see Baby Big Hairs review to see pics of the consistency of the products.
The cleanser is completely liquid with a very low lather being sulfate-free. You kind of have to guess at first how much to use. It did clean my hair without stripping it. I was surprised that it cleaned, but not surprised that it didn't strip my hair, and for the same reason. It's chocked full of oils. This fact also made it extremely easy to detangle my hair! The smell is kind of herbal. Over all, I like it!
The conditioner, for me, was best used as a leave-in conditioner. It didn't provide any slip, which is a requirement for me for a rinse-out conditioner.
The Jelly is really not a gel. It's liquid also. Even though it is primary flaxseed gel (which is awesome btw), it really felt like putting water on my hair. I mean seriously, I'm used to my hair feeling like product is on it while I'm styling. But who could argue with these results?
The definition is great. There's volume, body, and movement. I think the creator might be on to something.
The steps to creating this style:
That's it really. Simple. I think if you are looking for a good simple regimen, this line can deliver. I only suggest that they create a daily moisturizer, which I think I read somewhere that they are. Being that the styler is "gel-based", you need a way to keep your hair moisturized.
Second day hair wasn't bad either.
